Build an internal developer platform that is a thin, well-versioned layer over cloud primitives rather than a second infrastructure to operate: a portal and software catalog, platform APIs behind templates, environment provisioning, and multi-tenancy with real isolation. Learners assemble a Backstage-style portal, expose a provisioning API through Crossplane compositions, and onboard a tenant whose services arrive with pipelines, dashboards and alerts already wired.
